We’re always on the lookout for exciting new writers and artists.

Before submitting, it’s worth noting our definition of heroine. Heroines of The Heroine Collective are women who:

  • challenge social, cultural or political adversity for the benefit of positive change
  • value equality

EDITORIAL SUBMISSIONS

Take a look through our ABOUT page for information on our content.

We work in both long and short form, so word counts depend on individual pieces.

If you would like to pitch an idea for an article, or if you have a specialist knowledge of a particular heroine, we would be delighted to hear from you.

To pitch, send your idea and either a brief outline of your experience, or some links to your writing.

Please note all content is copyright of The Heroine Collective and is hosted exclusively by us.

ARTWORK SUBMISSIONS

We’re always keen to work with new artists and illustrators, so if you have an idea you want to share with us, please get in touch with some links to your work.

You can send both editorial and artwork submissions to submissions@www.theheroinecollective.com

Please note we are currently a volunteer publication so you would be submitting your work to support the project, to support the narrating of herstory past and present, and to allow us to showcase your talent.

If we accept your pitch, we do so with enormous gratitude for the contribution you’ve made, and will be delighted to welcome you to The Heroine Collective community.
